The main cast from the previous show, including Bret Iwan, Bill Farmer, Kaitlyn Robrock (replacing Russi Taylor due to her death in 2019), Tress MacNeille and Tony Anselmo (after being replaced by Daniel Ross in Mixed-Up Adventures), return. Joining them is Harvey Guillén, voicing the character Funny, an enchanted talking playhouse,[7] among others. This show notably marked the last time that Will Ryan voiced Willie the Giant before his death in November 2021. In 2022, Debra Wilson and Jan Johns replaced Tress MacNeille as the voice of Daisy and Chip respectively, due to MacNeille becoming occupied with other projects. His first Mickey tale appeared in 1950 but Mickey did not become a specialty until Murry's first serial for Walt Disney's Comics and Stories in 1953 ("The Last Resort").

The Three Caballeros are scheduled to perform at the club, but no one remembers that Donald was the third Caballero, except Pumbaa. Determined to not be forgotten, he tries to be the most important performer of the group, re-naming himself "The Duck Formerly Known as Donald" (a parody of Prince). However, everyone wants the old Donald back, making Jose and Panchito harass and embarrass Donald during their song.

Storyline
The Quackstreet Boys (alias Huey, Dewey, and Louie) have broken up and Mickey, Donald, and Goofy have to reunite them in time for the show, even resorting to impersonating them and playing music terribly. Mickey and Minnie try to leave for a vacation and leave Donald and Daisy in charge of the club. Mickey, with the help of Ludwig Von Drake, must discover the cause of the disappearance, who is ultimately revealed to be the Phantom Blot.

It was a unique show that combined elements of a sitcom, variety show, and animation, and featured popular Disney characters from various films and shorts. About this time, story artists at Disney were finding it increasingly difficult to write material for Mickey. As he had developed into a role model for children, they were limited in the types of gags they could present. This led to Mickey taking more of a secondary role in some of his next films, allowing for more emphasis on other characters. In Orphan's Benefit (1934), Mickey first appeared with Donald Duck who had been introduced earlier that year in the Silly Symphony series. The tempestuous duck would provide Disney with seemingly endless story ideas and would remain a recurring character in Mickey's cartoons.

Also during this era, Mickey would star in Brave Little Tailor (1938), an adaptation of The Valiant Little Tailor, which was nominated for an Academy Award. “House of Mouse” was well-received by audiences and became a beloved show among Disney fans. The show’s unique concept and entertaining blend of classic and modern Disney characters made it a memorable addition to the Disney animated television lineup. The following is a list of episodes of House of Mouse, an American animated television series that ran on ABC from January 13, 2001 to May 18, 2002 and on Toon Disney from September 2, 2002 to October 24, 2003.

The departure is considered a turning point in Mickey's career, as well as that of Walt Disney. Mickey lost the man responsible for his original design and for the direction or animation of several of the shorts released till this point. Advertising for the early Mickey Mouse cartoons credited them as "A Walt Disney Comic, drawn by Ub Iwerks". Later Disney Company reissues of the early cartoons tend to credit Walt Disney alone. When the Cat's Away (April 18, 1929), essentially a remake of the Alice Comedy, "Alice Rattled by Rats", was an unusual appearance for Mickey. Although Mickey and Minnie still maintained their anthropomorphic characteristics, they were depicted as the size of regular mice and living with a community of many other mice as pests in a home.

Saturday Night Live’s Colin Jost brings his barbed humor to the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington, D.C. At the time Gottfredson was reportedly eager to work in animation and somewhat reluctant to accept his new assignment. Disney had to assure him the assignment was only temporary and that he would eventually return to animation. Gottfredson accepted and ended up holding this "temporary" assignment from May 5, 1930, to November 15, 1975. One can imagine the peace a mouse might find laying here with a book and the soothing sound of the rain’s pitter-patter against the window. A fireplace greets visitors, directly beside a caricatured vintage radio that’s probably seen its fair share of fireside chats.
Ibarra opened her Thursday, Jan. 8, session by having students watch a video of the Matterhorn’s queue in Fantasyland. Students were asked to find ways that Disney Imagineers immersed riders in the experience — and to discuss how they would change things. The student-led course, “Disneyland Imagineer,” blends the magic of Disneyland with engineering and imagination as students simulate bringing rides off paper and into reality. Over the years, the popularity of Mickey grew and Shine has stayed true to the original look and style of Mickey in the '30s when he had a tail and pie eyes. In Europe, Mickey Mouse became the main attraction of a number of comics magazines, the most famous being Topolino in Italy from 1932 onward, Le Journal de Mickey in France from 1934 onward, Don Miki in Spain and the Greek Miky Maous.
It is Black and White Day at the House of Mouse, and the club is packed with old black and white cartoon characters. One of them, Dennis the Duck, tries to win over Donald, who is annoyed by him at first. In an attempt to shut down the House of Mouse, Pete steals all the cartoons, and cannot be found guilty even with obvious clues pointing to him. Meanwhile, Donald is put in charge of the club after Mickey and Goofy leave to film a new cartoon. Despite managing to keep the show going, Pete points out that with only one cartoon, guests would get bored and eventually stop coming.
Many characters from various Disney animated films (such as Cinderella, Aladdin, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, The Lion King, Beauty And The Beast, The Little Mermaid, Hercules, Sleeping Beauty, and many more) have appeared on House of Mouse, mostly as guests and attendees. The show included many relatively obscure and otherwise rarely-used characters from some of Walt Disney Animation's more obscure films, often with speaking parts; however, appearances by characters from other media (such as comic books and television shows) were few and far between. It featured segments with the animated characters interacting with each other and engaging in various comedic situations while being served by Mickey Mouse and other Disney characters. The club also showcased animated shorts and music performances by Disney characters throughout the episodes. The show was produced by Walt Disney Television, and originally aired from 2001 to 2003, running for 52 episodes.
